Orkos Studio

The "A Place in Paxos" website that you are currently on introduces you to our apartment which is in fact two separate, well appointed studios in the hamlet of Apergatika towards the north east of the island of Paxos. The village of Lakka is just a leisurely stroll away and there you will find all the facilities you will need to enhance your stay. Loggos is a little further, but if you can find, and then follow the donkey steps down to this idyllic village it should only take you about half an hour at the most.

Built in 2006, the A Place in Paxos apartment was refurbished to a very high standard and is now split into two studios. Both studios are roughly the same size at 65 square metres each and both are complete with a separate, well fitted, spacious shower room and fully fitted kitchen areas. Each of these kitchen areas has a cooker, fridge-freezer,  and is equipped with a full range of utensils, cutlery and crockery. Colour television and a DVD player are installed, and the television is best used by connecting to the free Wifi through your own internet device. Both studios benefit from air conditioning and are complimented by a shared swimming pool and outdoor patio area.

Each studio can be rented  individually and they are named after the nearby secluded Orkos and Lakkos beaches; please see the photographs of the beaches and the walk to the beaches that are elsewhere on the website.

The studios are equipped to take four people and the sleeping arrangements of each studio comprise of one double bed and one double sofa bed. Each studio is divided by tasteful curtains and charismatic room divides but there are no separate bedrooms and thus both Orkos and Lakkos are indeed genuine studio accommodation. A cot can be supplied on request.

One of the outstanding features of this holiday property is that although Orkos and Lakkos can be marketed as two separate private studios, each sleeping two to four people, both studios can be combined to make a larger split level single apartment that will accommodate up to eight people. This is made possible by utilising the internal staircase between the two studios which is normally kept locked if they are being utilised separately.
